Hello friends. This is Civil Engineer Mukesh Sah from Learning Civil Technology. Aj ke post me main apko batane wala hu How  to Calculate the Concrete Volume of Staircase Theoretically at Construction Site. Post ko end tak jarur padhe taki apki choti si choti doubt ko hum clear kar sake. Uske bad bhi agar apki koi doubt reh jati hain to ap comment mein humse pooch sakte hain. Hum poori khosish karenge apko poori tarah guide karne ki.

Sab se pehle hum upar diye hue FIGURE me dekh lete hain hame kya kya diya hua hain jiski madad se hum Staircase ka Concrete Volume nikalne wale hain.

Stair ki Landing ki thickness hamne yaha pakdi hain 200 mm (0.2 meter).

Stair Landing ka size hain 2.5 meter x 1.0 meter

Tread ka size hamne rakha hain 250 mm (0.25 meter)

Riser ka size hamne rakha hain 150 mm (0.15 meter)

Waist Slab ka thickness 125 mm hain yani ki 0.125 meter rakha gaya hain.

Width of Flight hain 1200 mm (1.2 meter)

Ye sab data hame help karega Staircase ka #Concrete Volume nikalne mein.

Sab se pehle hum dekhenge, ek Staircase ka volume nikalne ke liye hame kya kya nikalna padega.

Sab se pehle baat ati hain Flight ki. Hum sab hi jante hain ek floor se durse floor ko connect karne me minimum 2 flight ka help lena padta hain. Ab janenge ki flight ke andar kaun kaun sa part ata hain. Ek flight ko banana ke liye Steps (triangle made with the combination of Tread and Riser) aur Waist Slab lagta hain. Toh hum keh sakte hain, Flight = Total Number of Steps + Waist Slab

Ab bari ati hain Floor Landing aur Mid Landing ki. In dono ka bhi volume nikalna hoga hame.

Toh hamne dekha Ek Total Stair Case ka Volume nikalne ke liye hame nikal nahoga :

1. Volume of Waist Slab

2. Volume of Floor Landing

3. Volume of Mid Landing

4. Volume of Total number of Steps in 2 Flights

Ab hum ek ek kar ke sab nikalenge.

Sab se pehle hum nikal lete hain ki ek flight me hamara Total Tread aur Total Riser kitna hain. Iska help hame Volume of Steps aur Volume of Waist Slab ko nikalne mein lagega.

Sab se pehle hum Number of Tread nikalenge. Upar diye hue FIGURE ko gaur se dekhenge ap to apko pata chalega isme 10 numbers Tread hain. Jab apko Tread pata chal gaya toh Number of Riser v asani se pata chal jayega. Number of Riser nikalne ka simple sa formula hain.

Number of Riser = Number of Tread + 1

Number of Riser = 10 + 1 = 11

Volume of Waist Slab

Upar diye hue FIGURE ko dhayan se dekhiye. Isme ap Triangle dekh rahe hain. Jiska ek side hain Perpendicular (P), ek side hai Base (B) aur ek side hain Hypotenuse (H).Yaha pe hame Hypotenuse hi nikalna hain kiu ki Hypotenuse hi hamara ‘Length of Waist Slab’ hain. Agar hame Length of Waist slab mil gaya. Waist Slab ka thickness aur Flight ka width bhi hame pata hain. To hum asani se Waist Slab ka Volume nikal lenge in sab ki madad se.

Upar wale FIGURE se hum Perpendicular aur Base ka length nikalenge. Ab ap soch rahe honge ki Perpendicular aur Base ka length hum kaise nikalenge. Toh main apko bata du, Total Number of Riser in one flight ko agar main uske size se multiply karu to hamara Perpendicular ka length nikal jayega.

Length of Perpendicular = Total Number of Riser in one Flight x Size

= 11 x 150

= 1650 mm Or, 1.65 meter

Isi tarah agar hum Total Number of Tread in one flight ko agar uske size se multiply karu to hamara Base ka length nikal jayega.

Length of Base = Total Number of Tread in one Flight x Size

= 10 x 250

= 2500 mm Or, 2.5 meter

Ab hum Hypotenuse yani ki Length of Waist Slab nikal lete hain.

√[(Perpendicular)2 + (Base)2]

=√[(2.5)2 + (1.65)2]

=2.995 meter

Volume of Waist Slab

= (Length of Waist Slab x Thickness x Width of Flight) x 2

= (2.995 x 0.125 x 1.2) x 2

= 0.898 Cubic meter ———- (1)

Umid karta hu yaha tak apko ache se samajh me aya hoga. Ab hum nikalenge Volume of Floor Landing aur Mid landing.

Ye nikalna bahut aasan hain. Bas niche diye hue formula me data put karna hoga.

= (Length of Landing x Width of Landing x Thickness) x 2

= (2.5 x 1.0 x 0.2) x 2

= 1.00 Cubic meter ———- (2)

Volume of Steps in 1st and 2nd flight


Hame yaha pe Ek Step ka Volume nikalna hoga. Uske liye niche diye hue FIGURE ko dhayan se dekhiye.

Upar wale FIGURE me ek triangle hain jo Tread aur Riser ki combination se bana hua hain. Sab se pehle hame iska Area nikalna hain. FIGURE ko dekh ke ap samajh gaye honge ki ye ek Right Angle Triangle hain aur iska Area ka formula hota hain : (Base x Height)/2

Yaha pe Base hi hamara ‘Tread’ hain jiska size hain 0.25 meter. Aur Height hamara ‘Riser’ hain jiska size hain 0.15 meter.

Toh hamara Volume of 1 Step ka formula ho jayega (Area of Triangle x Width of Stair Flight)

Volume of 1 Step

[(Tread x Riser)/2] x Width of Flight

= [(0.25 x 0.15)/2] x 1.2

= 0.0225 Cubic meter

Ye to nikla hamara 1 step ka Volume. Hame nikalna hain Volume of Total number of Steps in both flights. Iske lie ap niche diye hue formula ko dhayan se dekhiye.

(Volume of 1 Step) x (Number of Riser – 1) x Number of Flight

=(0.0225) x (11 – 1) x 2

= 0.45 Cubic meter ———- (3)

Ab hum (1) , (2) aur (3) ko add kar denge. Yehi hamara Total Volume of Staircase hoga.

(1) + (2) + (3)

= 0.898 + 1.00 + 0.45

= 2.348 Cubic meter
