How To Calculate Quantity Of Cement Sand water in Plaster
Here I have consider Area of Mortar Bed for Plaster Volume (WET) = 100 Square Meter
Thickness of Plaster = 12 mm
Cement Sand Ratio = 1 : 6
Volume of Mortar (WET) = 100 X 0.012 = 1.2 Cubic Meter
Now Consider 20% for filling the depression of Frog, Joints, Wastage
= 1.2 + (20% of 1.2)
= 1.2 + (20 x 1.2 / 100) = 1.44 Cubic Meter (WET VOLUME)
Now Consider another 33% to convert the Wet Volume into Dry Volume
= 1.44 + (33% of 1.44)
= 1.44 + (33 x 1.44 / 100) = 1.92 Cubic Meter (DRY VOLUME)
DRY VOLUME of Mortar = 1.92 Cubic Meter ; Cement : Sand = 1 : 6
Sum of ratio of Cement and Sand = 1+6 = 7

CEMENT
(Dry Volume x Cement ratio x Density of Cement) / Sum of ratio of Cement and Sand
= (1.92 x 1 x 1440) / 7 = 395 KG = (395 / 50) = 7.9 Bags
SAND
(Dry Volume x Sand ratio x 35.3147) / Sum of ratio of Cement and Sand
= (1.92 x 6 x 35.3147) / 7 = 58.12 Cubic Feet.
[NOTE : 1 Cubic Meter = 35.3147 Cubic Feet]
[Alternative : Qty of Cement in Bags x Sand ratio x 1.226 = 7.9 x 6 x 1.226 = 58.11 Cubic Feet]
WATER
Ratio of Water / Cement = 0.45
Water = (Water-Cement ratio) x Cement in bag = 0.45 x 395 = 178 KG of Litre
Nice video.
Sir mujhe stair case sikhna hai so plz sir ek video bnado plz sir
plz upload the further post or photos which u teach us like bricks mortar topic and all parts of b.b.s
Super video…. Sir app ke sare video maine dekhe hai in video se mera knowledge aur bhi acha ho gaya hai.thank u sir, ur naya naya video upload kijiye sir. Thank u
Thnx for uploading such videos sir. This videos are really helpful for us to enhancing our technical knowledge.
Sir I have one doubt in plaster video,
Where we use internal plaster and external plaster?
Suppose there is a wall so we do both types of plaster in that wall or not ?
very good knowledge brother
Super

Nice learning videos sir,👌👌👌 please upload how to estimate aggregate and cement and sand for requirement of residential building for column’s material,2 feet x0.75feetx9feet height column’s like 40columns,we want to be how much cement required and sand in terms of CFT to metric tonnes , like that aggregate also sir, these is my mobile number 9666485273this is my what’s up number, please upload me we want to be learning for estimation as a junior engineer in civil site engineering field any body help me.
