Hello friends. This is Mukesh from Learning Civil Technology. Aj ke post mein main apko bataunga How to calculate M15 – Cement Sand Aggregate and Water Quantity in Concrete at Construction Site. Is post ki ek khas baat ye hain ki mai apko material ka calculation different unit me bataunga. Jaise ki Cement ka Weight main apko Cubic meter, KG, Bags aur Cubic feet me nikalna sikhaunga. Waise hi Sand ka main apko Cubic meter, KG, Bags aur Cubic feet me nikalna sikhaunga. Isi tarah Aggregate ka bhi bataunga apko.
Mujhe pata hain ap log sab iske liye bahut excited ho. To chaliye copy pen le ke baith jaiye aur ha ek request hain. Agar ye post apko pasand aye to ise jarur apne Civil Engineer dost aur Juniors tak jarur pahuchaye. Kiu ki kuch responsibility apki bhi hain is Nation ko aage badhane mein.
To chaliye post ki taraf aage badhte hain.
Cement, Sand, Aggregate aur Water ki quantity nikalne ke liye maine yaha Concrete ka Volume considered kiya hain 1 Cubic Meter. Agar apko 1 se jada Cubic Meter ke liye material nikalna hain to simply apko 1 Cubic Meter me jitna material apko lag raha hain, use apke Concrete ke Volume se multiply kar dena hoga. Apko apke material ka weight mil jayega.
Toh Cement, Sand, Aggregate and Water ki Quantity ko nikalne ke liye hame kuch data chahiye. Wo hum assume kar lete hain apne hisab se.
Volume of Concrete considered – 1 Cubic Meter
[NOTE : Yaad rakhiyega ye 1 Cubic Meter hamara WET Volume hain. Material calculation ke dauran hame ise DRY Volume me convert karna hoga. Wo hum apko aage batayenge]
Grade of Concrete Mix – M15
[NOTE : M15 Grade ka Concrete banane ke liye material ka ratio hota hain (1:2:4). Yaha pe 1 denote karta hain ‘Part of Cement’, 2 denote karta hain ‘Part of Sand’, aur 4 denote karta hain ‘Part of Aggregate’]
Water ki Quantity nikalne ke liye hame lagega Water – Cement Ratio. Toh hum yaha Water – Cement Ratio ko consider kar lete hain 0.45
Top chaliye main apko Cement, Sand, Aggregate aur Water ki Quantity ko nikalna batata hu.
Sab se pehle hum, M15 Grade Concrete ka jo Ratio hain uska summation nikal ke rakh lete hain.
Sum of Ratio of Cement , Sand and Aggregate = 1+2+4 = 7
Ab hame Concrete ke WET Volume ko Dry Volume me convert karna hoga. Iske liye hame Dry volume ko 54 percent increase kar dena hoga. Ab ap poochenge ki 54 percent hi kiu increase karenge. Toh main apko bata du ye 54 percent ek experimental data hain, jo hame experiment ke jariye mila hain. Toh chaliye assumed concrete ko WET se DRY volume mein convert kar lete hain.
Maine upar WET Concrete Volume consider kiya tha 1 Cubic Meter. Toh DRY Volume hamara ho jayega,
DRY Volume = WET volume + (54 % of WET volume)
DRY Volume = 1 + (54 x 1/100) = 1.54 Cubic meter
Toh isi DRY Volume (1.54 Cubic Meter) me hum nikalenge Cement, Sand, Aggregate aur Water ki Quantity ko. To chaliye suru karte hain. Umid karta hu yaha tak apko sab samajh me aya hoga.
Sab se pehle CEMENT se suruwat karte hain.
CEMENT
1. Quantity of Cement in Cubic Meter
Cubic Meter = DRY Volume of Concrete x ( Ratio of Cement / Sum of Total Ratio)
= 1.54 x (1/7)
= 0.22 Cubic Meter
2. Quantity of Cement in KG
KG = DRY Volume of Concrete x ( Ratio of Cement / Sum of Total Ratio) x Density of Cement
= 1.54 x (1/7) x 1440
= 316.8 KG
3. Quantity of Cement in Bags
We know, 50 KG = 1 Bag of Cement
For, 316.8 KG = 316.8/50 = 6.336 Bags of Cement
4. Quantity of Cement in Cubic Feet
If we multiply Number of Cement bags by 1.226, We get the value in Cubic feet.
Cubic Feet = 6.336 x 1.226 = 7.77 Cubic Feet

SAND
1. Quantity of Sand in Cubic Meter
Cubic Meter = DRY Volume of Concrete x ( Ratio of Sand / Sum of Total Ratio)
= 1.54 x (2/7)
= 0.44 Cubic Meter
2. Quantity of Sand in KG
KG = DRY Volume of Concrete x ( Ratio of Sand / Sum of Total Ratio) x Density of Sand
= 1.54 x (2/7) x 1450
= 638 KG
[NOTE : Density of Sand varies between 1450 – 1500 KG per Cubic Meter]
3. Quantity of Sand in Cubic Feet
Cubic Feet = Dry Volume of Concrete x (Ratio of Sand / Sum of Total ratio) x 35.3147
= 15.54 Cubic Feet
[NOTE : 1 Cubic Meter = 35.3147 Cubic Feet]
ALTERNATIVE
Number of Cement Bags x Value of one bag of Cement in Cubic Feet x Ratio of Sand
= 6.336 x 1.226 x 2
= 15.54 Cubic Feet
AGGREGATE
1. Quantity of Aggregate in Cubic Meter
Cubic Meter = DRY Volume of Concrete x ( Ratio of Aggregate / Sum of Total Ratio)
= 1.54 x (4/7)
= 0.88 Cubic Meter
2. Quantity of Aggregate in KG
KG = DRY Volume of Concrete x (Ratio of Aggregate / Sum of Total Ratio) x Density of Aggregate
= 1.54 x (4/7) x 1500
= 1320 KG
[NOTE : Density of Aggregate varies between 1450 – 1550 KG per Cubic Meter]
3. Quantity of Aggregate in Cubic Feet
Cubic Feet = Dry Volume of Concrete x (Ratio of Aggregate / Sum of Total ratio) x 35.3147
= 31.07 Cubic Feet
[NOTE : 1 Cubic Meter = 35.3147 Cubic Feet]
ALTERNATIVE
Number of Cement Bags x Value of one bag of Cement in Cubic Feet x Ratio of Aggregate
= 6.336 x 1.226 x 4
= 31.07 Cubic Feet

WATER
Dhayan dijiye.
Water / Cement = 0.45
Or, Water = 0.45 x Cement
Or, Water = 0.45 x 316.8
Or, Water = 142.56 KG or Equivalent to 143 Litre.
Toh is tarike se hum asani se Cement, Sand, Aggregate and Water Quantity in Concrete at Construction Site nikal sakte hain.
